Error In adadmin $APPL_TOP And Database Name

    When you run adadmin and encountered error code “The Applications System names per the APPL_TOP and the database
    are different.”, this was due to the autoconfig was not run on both Apps Tier and DB Tier.

    The solution for this adadmin error below was to re-run autoconfig in both Apps Tier and DB Tier. After running the autoconfig, re-run the adadmin again to make sure the $APPL_TOP Application Name was sync with Database Name.

    Setting up module information.
    Reading database for information about the modules.
    Saving module information.
    Reading database for information about the products.
    Reading database for information about how products depend on each other.
    Reading topfile.txt ...
     
    Saving product information.
     
    AD code level : [11i.AD.I.6]
     
     
    The Applications System names per the APPL_TOP and the database
    are different.
        Applications System name per the APPL_TOP: ORAEBCT
        Applications System name per the database: ORAEB1P
     
    If you continue, the Applications System name per the APPL_TOP will
    be ignored.
